Norse Athletic Association Benefit Golf Tournament June 9, 2008
Overview
The Norse Athletic Association Benefit Golf Tournament Sponsored, by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Northeast Iowa Office, Jon Pipho '97 and Jeff Olinger '85.
This year's tournament will be held Monday, June 9, 2008 at Oneota Golf and Country Club, 1714 Golf Road in Decorah, Iowa. Entry deadline is Monday, June 2, 2008.
The Norse Athletic Association was formed in 2007 to support and enhance the student-athlete experience.
In 2007-08, funds raised through the Norse Athletic Association enabled the athletic department to purchase hardware and Internet services necessary to provide video streaming of various sports competitions on the Web. This allowed alumni, parents, and fans to watch the Norse from anywhere in the world.
In addition, NAA funds were used to supplement travel budgets, enabling our teams to make spring trips, compete at more distant locations, and travel in buses more often.
The Luther College Athletic Department is very appreciative of the support provided by NAA members.

Entry fee includes:
- Iowa Chop dinner
- Green fees and riding cart
- Free range balls
- Award ceremony
- Team prizes and hole prizes
