Tennis Facilities

courts

The Luther campus is furnished with outstanding tennis facilities - twelve outdoor courts and six indoor courts in the Sports and Recreation Center, provide athletes with plenty of space to improve their skills. Both the indoor and outdoor facilities are considered some of the best in the region.

The Luther women have dominated the Iowa Conference since 1982, the year the conference first sponsored a championship for the sport. The Norse women own the league record for consecutive conference championships in any sports with 19 from 1982-2000.

The men's team has also won the most IIAC titles claiming the league championship 26 times.

Both teams play both a fall and spring schedule with the women playing for the conference championship in the fall, while the men play for the league title in the spring. The NCAA Division III National Tennis Tournaments are both played in the spring.
