What the Norse are Saying

“I decided that I wanted to play for Luther as soon as I got in the car after my visit. After touring the campus and seeing the athletic facilities I definitely knew it was the place for me. The weather in the Midwest does not allow us to be out on the field everyday, but the Regents Center provides tons of space for us to train in the off-season. Besides the great facilities, the baseball program at Luther keeps a smaller roster than many other schools, which provides equal opportunities on the playing field.

I came from a town where the sport of baseball does not get as much credit as it should. When I arrived at Luther, I immediately realized how much the guys on the team really appreciate the game. Along with being hard-working athletes, my teammates are great friends. When I came in as a freshman, they made me feel comfortable and made me feel like I was already part of the team.

Being a student-athlete can be time consuming, but I would say it is well worth it. Not only does it build life-long values, but it also provides life-long friendships.”
