"Ruc" completed his career as a two-time Iowa Conference rebounding leader and was twice named honorable mention all-conference.
"My choice to come to a small school in Iowa was definitely not something I expected to do, but after visiting Luther, I knew it was the right fit for me. My dad always urged me to play multiple sports in high school and get the most out of my athletic career. The Luther College athletic department does a great job of allowing you to be a multi-sport athlete.
"Being a member of the Luther basketball team provided me with an amazing experience. I was surrounded by a group of guys who all shared the common goal of succeeding. Basketball tends to be a long, strenuous season, so as teammates we became a family away from home."
