Luther played a well controlled ball game turning the ball over just 12 times and out rebounded Gustavus 39-35. Both teams made 13 free throws, but Luther's 8-for-9 effort in the final eight minutes, allowed the Norse to get back into this game after falling behind 45-41 with 8:32 remaining. The Norse led 32-21 at intermission, but were outscored 20-8 during the first 11 minutes of the second frame.

Complete box score.

The Norse return to action on Monday, Nov. 19, when they will host St. Olaf College at 7:00 p.m.
