In a game that saw four ties and five lead changes, Luther took the lead for good with 3:21 remaining in the contest, thanks to a Zac Ruckebeil tip-in. The bucket gave the Norse a 53-52 advantage, which they extended to a five-point lead twice in the final two minutes, en route to a 60-58 victory over Iowa Wesleyan College. The road win was the second of the season and gives the Norse an overall record of 3-4.

Austin Bildstein led all scorers with 18 points. Bildstein was 7-of-15 from the field that included a 2-for-4 performance from behind the three-point line. Jake Waddle and Ruckebeil also tallied double digits with 11 and 10 points respectively.

The Norse shot 34% for the game, but played solid defense holding Iowa Wesleyan to a shooting percentage of 31.7%. The Tigers were 1-for-18 from behind the arch.
