Loras Defeats Luther in Dubuque

Kyle White made the first of his two three-pointers in the opening minute of this ball game, and Loras never trailed the rest of the way, en route to a 61-43 victory in Dubuque this afternoon.
White led all scorers with 21 points that included a perfect 5-for-5 performance from the free throw line. Luke Slater also reached double figures for the Duhawks with 10.
Nnamdi Okolue was Luther's top point producer with nine. Okolue was 4-of-6 from the field and made 1-of-2 charity tosses. Ryan Kuhn (8) and Austin Bildstein (7) completed the list of top scorers.
The loss was Luther's sixth in a row and drops its IIAC record to 2-12, 6-17 overall. Loras increased it league record to 12-2 and remained alone in second place.
The Norse will wrap up the season with two games at home this week. Wartburg will visit the Regents Center on Wednesday night and Central will be in Decorah Saturday afternoon. The Wartburg game will begin at 8:00 p.m., while the Central contest will tip-off at 4:00 p.m. Both games will be video streamed and audio streamed.
