In a game that saw nine lead changes and seven ties, in the end it was Loras that prevailed 59-57 in an Iowa Conference clash here in the Regents Center.

The largest lead of the night was seven points by Loras with 8:49 remaining in the second half. Shane Daniels made the first of two free throws with 13 ticks left on the clock, pulling the Norse to within two and what proved to be the final outcome. Daniels miss second attempt, was gathered in by Jake Waddle, who made a great play to keep the ball inbounds. His effort gave the Norse and opportunity for a last second shot that fell shy.

Austin Bildstien led the Norse with 10 points. He was followed by Waddle (9), Ryan Kuhn (8) and Jacy Dillahunty (8). Zac Ruckebeil once again led the squad in rebounding with eight. Waddle was a close second in this category with seven.
