Bildstein Tallies 33 - Luther Defeats St. Mary's University 77-59

Luther raised its overall record to 2-1 defeating St. Mary's University (MN) 77-59 at the Snyder Classic hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University this evening.
Austin Bildstein paced the Norse offensive attack, pouring in a career high 33 points, one point shy of the Snyder Classic single game record. Bildstein was 13-of-19 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 at the charity stripe. Tony Brantner also reached double digits with 10. Zac Ruckebeil chipped in five points and collected a game high 12 rebounds.
Luther shot 51.8% from the field and out rebounded the Cardinals 42-16 en route to the victory.
The Norse will wrap up their trip to Lincoln, Neb. tomorrow when they will play Concordia-Moorhead at 5:30 p.m. The Cobbers lost to Nebraska Wesleyan in tonight's second game 71-52.
