Norse Capture Team Title of All-American Invite - McKay and Busche Share Individual Champion

Luther packed four in the top five and had five runners in the top 11 finishers and captured the team title of the 38th Annual All-American Invitational. The Norse posted a point total of 23 points and were followed by UW-La Crosse with 34.

David McKay and Matt Busche crossed the finish line together and shared the individual title with a winning time of 21:18. Mike Switzer (21:29) and John Franzen (21:29) were close behind finishing in fourth and fifth place. Daniel Summerfield (21:44), Aaron Zutz (21:44) and Carson Bruns (21:45) crossed the finish line in 11th, 12th and 13th respectively, completing the top seven.

The Norse will return to action on Sept. 21 when they will participate in the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational.
