Norse 13th at UW-Eau Claire Invite

Head Coach Steve Pasche took his second seven runners to the UW-Eau Claire Invitational and finished 13th from the 20-team field. The Norse tallied 361 points. The University of Minnesota-Duluth won the team title with 65, followed by Wartburg College with 76.
Erik Johnson was Luther's top runner, placing 50th (27:27) from the field of 287 runners. Johnson was followed by Kyle Buck (70th, 28:24), Austin Tegels (73rd, 28:30), Jordan Lang (81st, 28:43) and Drew Burmahl (87th, 28:57). Josh Gerber (93rd, 29:06) and Ben Kraus (96th, 29:15) rounded out the Norse squad.
The Norse will return to action on Sept. 29, when they will travel to the University of Minnesota for the Roy Griak Invitational.
