A three-year starter at offensive tackle and an all-conference honoree, Spencer Allen fell in love with Luther.

"My experience with Norse football is something I'll cherish the rest of my life. Having earned my degree ahead of time, I still had a year of eligibility. I chose to return and play because of the bond we had as teammates; this was my family away from home. In addition to the friendships and the success we shared on and off the field, my biggest thrill was when I walked across the stage and was handed my diploma."
