  • Two-time all-conference offensive lineman for the Norse
  • Inducted into Luther Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998

Roger Jaeger

Chuck Leierer

  • Joins Norse after spending two years as a graduate assistant at the University of North Dakota
  • Coached three years at Peru State College (Neb.), from 2000-03
  • All-conference selection for Hastings as an offensive tackle
  • Also serves at the Farwell Hall director
  • Hometown: Minden, Neb.

Bob Naslund

  • Entering his 46th year at Luther, 40th as a coach
  • Has been involved with 424 varsity football games
  • 1965 graduate of Luther College
  • Head coach of the Norse from 1978-95
  • Career record of 88-83 ranks second in career wins in Norse history
  • Iowa Conference Coach of the Year nine times
  • As a head coach, coached 12 IIAC championship teams
  • As an athlete, was a three-year starting linebacker and earned all-conference honors as a member of the undefeated 1963 Norse football team
  • Hometown: Cambridge, Ill.

Cody Teslow

  • Currently taking classes to further his career in sports medicine
  • Four-year starter for Wartburg and still holds school record for field goals
  • Played in the National Indoor Football League for the Beaumont Drillers
  • Hometown: Frankville, Iowa

Dick Wuest

  • 1956 graduate of Luther College
  • Served 32 years as head coach of Decorah High School, with a record of 182-80
  • Led Decorah to 13 Northeast Iowa Conference titles, qualified for the state playoffs 10 times (including six straight from 1986-91), and won four state championships (including three straight from 1987-89)
  • Inducted into Luther Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988
  • Hometown: La Crosse, Wis.

Tom Krambeer

  • Rejoins the Norse coaching staff and begins his third season
  • 2003 graduate of Luther College
  • 2007 received his masters degree in physical education from Montana State University
  • Three-year letter winner at quarterback for the Norse
  • Hometown: Pine Island, Minn.

Don Roby

Volunteer Coach/Sam Linebackers

  • Begins his sixth season with the Norse
  • 1958 graduate of Coe College, where he was an honorable mention Little All-American.
  • Coached 16 years of football at both the high school and college levels, including his last five at the College of William and Mary under former Buffalo Bills Head Coach Marv Levy.
  • Prior to retiring in Decorah, served as president of Northeast Iowa Community College.
  • Hometown: Marion, Iowa.
