Benny Boyd

Co-Defensive Coordinator/Special Teams Administrator

- Graduate assistant at Aurora University from 2000-01
- Three-year starter and two-time all-conference performer at defensive back
- Also serves as an instructor in the Health and Physical Education department

Dan Marlow

Co-Defensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator

- Assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Oregon State University from 1991-96
- Graduate Assistant coach at the University of Nevada–Las Vegas 1990
- Graduate assistant at Northern Illinois in 1989
- Two-time all-conference offensive lineman for the Norse
- Inducted into Luther Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998

Roger Jaeger

Defensive Line

- Begins his 28th year as a member of the Norse coaching staff
- 1971 graduate of the University of Wisconsin
- Signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 1971
- Prior to joining Luther staff, he coached at University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and Waldorf College
- Also serves as director of facilities and recreational sports

Dick Wuest

Running Backs

- Begins his 14th season with the Norse
- 1956 graduate of Luther College
- Served 32 years as head coach of Decorah High School, with a record of 182-80
- Led Decorah to 13 Northeast Iowa Conference titles, qualified for the state playoffs 10 times (including six straight from 1986-91), and won four state championships (including three straight from 1987-89)
- Inducted into Luther Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988
- Hometown: La Crosse, Wis.
Brian Eayrs

Receivers

- Begins his second season as receivers coach
- 2004 graduate of Augsburg College where he played quarterback
- Prior to joining the Norse program, he served two years with the Minnesota Vikings in the personnel department
- In 2005 he was a graduate assistant for Coach Durnin at UW-La Crosse
- Spent two years coaching receivers at Minnesota powerhouse Eden Prairie High school from 2003-04
- His father Mike, who served as an assistant coach for Luther in 1984, is the Director of Research and Development for the Green Bay Packers

Luke Knauf

Offensive Line

- Begins his second season as offensive line coach
- 2007 graduate of the University of Wisconsin
- Played for the Badgers from 2003-06
- Prior to joining the Norse staff he served as the assistant offensive line coach at UW-La Crosse
- His father Tom, was inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2007
- Hometown: Stratford, Wis.
