Luther 11th at Loras Spring Invite

Twenty-two teams traveled to Asbury, Iowa for the 36-hole Loras Spring Invitational. The Duhawks hosted the two-day tournament on the par 72, 6,675 yard The Meadows Golf Course.
Central College won the team title posting a total of 603. Illinois Wesleyan was second at 614 and Carthage finished third at 619. Luther shot 320 on day one and 332 on day two, for a total of 652 and finished 11th.
Alec Schumacher was team medalist. Schumacher shot rounds of 80-80-160 and finished in a tie for 26th place from the field of 109 players. Tom Lantzy was one stroke back and finished 34th (76-85-161). Paul Soener (82-82-164), Chase Forkenbrock (82-85-167) and Jake Jurgeson (84-98-182) completed the list of Norse participants.
The Norse will return to action when they will play in the Wartburg Invitational April 12-13.
