Luther College Men's Golf Team Ranked 25th in Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches’ Preseason Poll

Golf World Magazine has announced its Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches’ Preseason Poll and the Luther College men’s team is ranked 25th in the nation.

Eight-time Iowa Conference Coach of the Year Scott Fjelstul returns six letter winners from last year’s squad that finished second at the Iowa Conference championships.

Prior to the IIAC Championships, the Norse claimed team titles at the 19-team Buena Vista Invitational and the 15-team Gustavus Spring Classic. The Norse kicked off the spring schedule with six-stroke victory over Huntingdon College that was ranked #1 in the nation at the time, at the Sunshine Invitational during their annual spring break trip to Orlando, Fla.

Luther will begin its fall schedule at the Augsburg Invitational Sept. 12-13 in Ham Lake, Minn.
