Norse Blanked By Maryville University 2-0

Maryville University handed Luther a 2-0 loss in the opening match of the three-team Classic Soccer Tournament here in Decorah this evening.
After a scoreless first half, Maryville's Dustin Crow scored what proved to be the game winner and his first of two goals for the evening at 56:03. He chipped in the final tally of night at 87:37 unassisted.
The loss was Luther's second in a row and lowered its overall record to 1-2-1.
The Norse will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they will play Augustana (IL) at 4:00 p.m. Augustana and Maryville will square off tomorrow afternoon at this same time.
