Norse Fall to Oles in Overtime

St. Olaf's John Zietlow scored the game winner with 2:55 remaining in overtime off a corner kick, as St. Olaf came from behind to defeat the Luther 2-1 this evening in Northfield.
David Keller gave the Norse an early 1-0 lead with a goal at 39:56 unassisted. St. Olaf tied the match in the at 67th minute that forced the non-conference contest into the extra frame.
The loss gives Luther an overall record of 1-1-1.
The Norse return to action on Friday, Sept. 7 when they will host Maryville University (MO) at 7:00 p.m. This is the first match of the three-team, three-day, Classic Soccer Tournament.
