Luther defeats coe in overtime 1-0

Adam Pyzdrowski scored at 95:26 giving Luther a 1-0 overtime victory over Coe College this evening here in Decorah. Pyzdrowksi's goal was his sixth of the year and first game winner of the season. Melchor Quezada assisted on the play with a great pass over the top of the Coe defenders.
Norse goalkeeper Steve O'Meara was credited with six saves en route to his seventh shutout of the year. O'Meara stopped four Kohawk shots in the first half and two point blank attempts in the second frame.
The win gives Luther an Iowa Conference record of 5-3, 7-9-1 overall. Coe falls to 2-5-1 in league action, 6-10-2 overall.
The Norse also secured the #4 seed for the six-team Iowa Conference Tournament. The Norse will host the #5 seed on Tuesday, Nov. 3 with a tentative starting time of 4:00 p.m. This match will be video streamed weather permitting.
