- Named Iowa Conference Coach of the Year for both men and women in 2005, 2006 and 2007
- The Norse men have captured four of five Iowa Conference championships, while the women have won three straight titles since 2005
- In 2007, the men's team captured its third consecutive Liberal Arts Championship by over 169 points, and Coach Huber and Luther Diving Coach Dave Happel were named Coaches of the Year.
- In 2007, the women's team claimed its second Liberal Arts title, the first coming in 2005. The Norse claimed the title by over 139 points.
- in 2007, both the men's and women's teams rewrote the record books, establishing 13 and 16 school records respectively.
- Joined Luther after two years as head coach at Cumberland College, where he coached 46 NAIA All-Americans
- Earned 12 NCAA Division II All-American honors while competing for the University of South Dakota

Dave Happel
Diving Coach

- 1964 JD Degree, School of Law, Valparaiso University
- Ninth year at Luther College.
- Named Iowa Conference Diving Coach of the Year in 2007.
- Named Liberal Arts Championship Coach of the Year in 2007.
- Has coached 13 Iowa Conference champions, two Liberal Arts champions and two divers who have posted NCAA III national qualifying standards on both 1-meter and 3-meter.
- Since 1958 he has been the Head Diving Coach at Vinton Aquatic Club. During his tenure, he has coached three divers who qualified and participated in USA Diving National Jr. Championships. Has also coahed eight divers who qualified and participated in USA Diving National West Jr. Spring Championships, as well as numerous divers who have placed and won regional championships.
- While coaching at Porter County YMCA, Valparaiso, Ind., he coached one national champion in Y National Meet held in Iowa City.
- From 1981-87 served as diving coach at Washington High School, Vinton, Iowa.
