Norse Remain Undefeated

The men's swimming and diving team remained undefeated in dual-meet competition, posting victories over UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater in Oshkosh. The Norse won nine of 13 events in the double-dual, defeating UW-Oshkosh 87-26 and UW-Whitewater 78-35. Whitewater defeated Oshkosh 72-41. The two wins increased Luther's overall record to 4-0.
Andrew Bross (Sr. - Omaha, Neb./Northwest) paced the Norse with first place finishes in the 400 IM (4:36.24) and the 100 fly (54.34).
Bryan Perrott (Jr., Northfield, Minn.) and Michael Pettengill (So., Vinton, Iowa) were also involved with two first place performances. Both joined Eric Crawford (Sr., Des Moines/Lincoln) and Ben Skutnik (Sr., Hastings, Neb.) on the first place 200 medley relay team (1:38.79). Perrott also won the 100 backstroke (55.85), while Pettengill breezed to a first place finish in the 100 breaststroke (59.56).
Also posting first place finishes for the Norse was Spencer Robbins (So., Brandon, S.D./Brandon Valley) in the 200 freestyle (1:47.66); Taylor Nelson (So., Decorah) in the 50 freestyle (23.03); Alex Eganhouse in one-meter diving (266.05); and Cameron Webb in the 100 freestyle (48.16).
The Norse will return to action at home on Saturday, Nov. 10, when they will host Morningside College at 1:00 p.m.
