division ii flagler snaps luther's six-match win streak

Flagler College, ranked #37 in the NCAA II, snapped Luther's six-match win streak this afternoon in St. Augustine, Florida. Flagler swept the doubles action and won all but one match in singles play en route to an 8-1 victory.
Harrison Whiteley was defeated in straight sets at #1singles 6-1, 6-2 by David Cotrone. Scott Sundstrom dropped a hard-fought 1-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7) decision at #2 singles to Gino Ramirez. Utsab Rijal was defeated 7-5, 7-6 (2) by Harry Snoxell at #3. Mark Mateski secured Luther's lone point when his opponent retired after the first set at #5.
The Norse will be off tomorrow. They will wrap up their annual spring trip to Orlando, Florida with matches against Lawrence University (WI) and Calvin College (MI) on Thursday, March 26.
