Norse post 20th win of the season - defeat Lawrence 8-1

Luther rolled to an 8-1 victory over Lawrence University today in Orlando, Florida. The Norse victory was their 20th of the season against just four losses.
Luther jumped out to a quick 3-0 start sweeping doubles play. Thomas Orser and Utsab Rijal posted an 8-2 win at #1. Scott Martin and Mark Mateski at #2 and Aaron Gendron and Cole Henry at #3 posted 8-4 victories.
In singles play, Luther won five of six matches in straight sets. Thomas Orser battled but lost at #1 6-4, 6-3.
Luther will wrap up its spring trip to Orlando, Florida this afternoon when they will face regionally ranked #10 Calvin College.
