Luther defeats northwestern (MN) 9-0

Luther remained perfect at home this afternoon as it cruised to a 9-0 victory over Northwestern College (MN). Earlier today, the Norse defeated Dordt College by this same score.
The Norse jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after dropping just seven games in doubles play. All six singles matches were won in straight sets, as the Norse dropped a combined eight games of the 80 played.
One week from today, Luther will wrap up its home schedule with matches against UW-Eau Claire and Grinnell College. The Eau Claire match will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the Grinnell match will start at Noon.
