Luther Blanks Simpson 9-0 - Remains Undefeated in League Play

Luther hosted Simpson College this afternoon here in the Regents Center and posted an impressive 9-0 victory. The win keeps the Norse undefeated in the Iowa Conference increasing their record to 4-0. The victory also marked the seventh time this season the Norse have posted a 9-0 victory, the third over an IIAC opponent.
Steve Holt and Cole Henry secured the perfect score with hard-fought tie breaker victories. Holt posted a 6-4, 6-7 (2), 10-7 win at #3 singles, while Henry was victorious 4-6, 6-3, 10-5 at #4.
The Norse will return to action on Saturday, March 14 when they will travel to Buena Vista University to face Morningside College and the Beavers. These two matches were rescheduled after the Norse were unable to travel to Storm Lake on Feb. 21 due to weather conditions.
