Luther College Track and Field Teams Earn Academic All-America Honors

The U. S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced that both the Luther College men’s and women’s track and field teams have earned All-Academic team honors. A total of 51 men’s teams and 100 women’s teams from the NCAA Division III received this award.

In order earn this award, a squad’s entire roster must have had a combined grade point average (GPA) of 3.10 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

The Luther women’s team was ranked 15th with a GPA of 3.505. The men's team ranked 21st with a GPA of 3.249. A total of six women’s teams and two men’s teams from the Iowa Conference were listed among this year’s award winners. The Luther men’s team roster consisted of 67 student-athletes, while the women’s team had a total of 60 on the active roster.
