#9 Luther Defeats UW-Eau Claire 34-7

Nationally ranked #9 Luther rolled to a 34-7 victory over UW-Eau Claire here in the Regents Center. The Norse produced bonus points thanks to two falls, two major decisions and one technical fall. The victory leveled Luther's overall record to 2-2
Jayson Swanson (Watson, Ill./St. Anthony) kicked-off the evening with a major decision at 125 over the Blugolds Brandon Page. Two matches later, Josh Prichard (Morton, Ill.) produced a fall at 141 in 54 seconds over Brian Reier.
2008 All-American Yonny Quist (Hilo, Hawaii) followed Prichard's match with an impressive 19-1 technical fall (3:53) over Zack Weisenberger. Nic Barclay (Apple Valley, Minn.) tallied a fall in 32 seconds at 197. Two-time All-American Alec Bonander, the top ranked wrestler at 197, posted a 10-0 major decision over #4 ranked Josh Holforty.
