Fifteen Point Run by Eagles Spells Doom for Norse

Leading 12-9 halfway through tonight's match, #17 Luther saw #5 UW-La Crosse run off 15 unanswered points that allowed the Eagles to take command of this match en route to a 30-15 victory.
Falls by All-American Zach Bartlett at 133 and Jason Pyle at 157, gave the Norse an early 12-9 lead. The Eagles 15-point run was produced with a fall at 165, a decision at 174, and a fall at 184, giving the Eagles a commanding 24-12 lead. Luther's Two-time All-American Alec Bonander drew the Norse to 24-15 with a 9-2 decision at 197. Defending national champion Dan Laurent of La Crosse finished the evening with a fall at 285.
The loss gives Luther an overall record of 3-3-1. La Crosse increased its overall mark to 10-2.
