The Norse Athletic Association will host a 4-Person Best Shot Benefit Golf Tournament at Northfield Golf Club, located in Northfield, Minn. on Thursday, July 16, 2009.
Entry fee is $120 per person or $480 per team. Your entry fee includes: Grill-your-own-steak dinner with all the fixings and homemade pie at the house of Kris and Rick Estenson '78, 10541 Ibson Ave., green fees and golf cart, awards ceremony, team prizes and hole prizes. You can also enjoy dinner without playing golf for $40 per person. Entry deadline is Thursday, July 9.
Registration will take place at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start scheduled at 1:00 p.m. Social hour will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. at the Estenson's home just a short drive from the golf course

Committee members include Bethany Bierman '95, Joel Boulanger '92, Rick Estenson '78, Mark Franzen, Kirk Johnson '82, Charlie Peterson '62.
All proceeds will benefit the Norse Athletic Association (NAA). The Norse Athletic Association was formed in 2007 to support and enhance the student-athlete experience.
In 2008-09, funds raised through the Norse Athletic Association enabled the athletic department to purchase hardware and Internet services necessary to provide video streaming of various sport competitions on the web. This allowed alumni, parents, and fans to watch the Norse from anywhere in the world.
In addition, NAA funds were used to supplement travel budgets, enabling our teams to make spring trips, compete at more distant locations, and travel in buses more often.
The Luther College Athletic Department is very appreciative of the support provided by NAA members.
