Begins first season as head coach.
Takes over Luther football program after serving as the defensive coordinator at UW-La Crosse from 2001 until he was officially named Luther's Head Coach Dec. 17, 2007.
During his time at La Crosse, the Eagles won three WIAC championships and made four appearances in the NCAA III National Playoffs.
Prior to his seven years at La Crosse, he was an assistant coach and the recruiting coordinator at Illinois State University from 1992-1994.
He moved to Illinois State University after serving seven years at the University of Puget Sound - four years as the defensive coordinator and three as the offensive coordinator from 1985-1992.
Spent two seasons as Yankton College from 1983-84 as the defensive coordinator.
Began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Minnesota State University-Mankato coaching receivers and defensive backs from 1981-82.
