- His teams have finished first or second in the Iowa Conference eight of the past 13 years.
- Named Iowa Conference Coach of the Year six times (1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2006).
- Has coached 34 all-conference performers (top-10 finish), including five league Most Valuable Players, five All-Americans and 13 Golf Coaches Association of American Academic All-Americans.
- Named the NCAA Division III District 5 Coach of the Year in 1996.
