Three Norse Honored on All-Conference Team

Senior co-captains Ashley TeKippe and Danielle Dunnwald have been named to the 2007-08 women's basketball all-conference team. The 15-member team includes nine repeat all-conference performers, including TeKippe and Dunnwald.
TeKippe, a second-team honoree a year ago, was a first-team selection. TeKippe led the Iowa Conference in rebounding pulling down 8.3 rebounds per game. She also finished sixth in the league in scoring (14.7), fifth for field goal percentage (54.4) and second in blocked shots (2.63).
Dunnwald was named to the second-team for the second year in a row. Considered one of the best defenders in the Iowa Conference, Dunnwald led the league in steals, producing 2.81 picks per game. She also finished ninth in rebounding (6.1) and 13th for assists (2.38).
Freshman Camille Stenhaug was named to the five-member honorable mention squad. Stenhaug, who was Luther's second leading scorer this season, finished tenth in the IIAC in this category producing 12.6 points per contest.
Luther completed the 2007-08 Iowa Conference schedule with a record of 12-4, increasing its string of consecutive winning seasons in league play to 21. The Norse earned the second seed for the IIAC post season tournament, but were eliminated in the semifinals after losing to Coe College 66-58.
