Norse Defeated by Knights in Opening Game of the McWilliams Tournament

The Carleton College Knights held Luther to 21 second half points en route to a 56-46 come-from-behind victory over the Norse in the opening game of the McWilliams Tournament hosted by Washington University.
Luther led 35-32 at intermission, but shot just 25% in the second frame. Carleton shot 39.6% for the game compared to Luther's 34.5%, but the difference was the Knight's 7-of-14 performance from behind the three-point line. Luther connected on just 1-of-11 from behind the arch. The Norse did out rebound the Knights 35-34, scoring 18 points on second chance efforts.
Blair Ernst and Ashley TeKippe tallied double figures with 17 and 15 points respectively. Danielle Dunnwald was the only perimeter player close to double digits with nine.
Four Carleton players reached double figures led by Annie Isler with 13. Amber Connor, Anna Biewen and Sarah Lincoln all chipped in 12 each.
