Norse Win Fourth in a Row - TeKippe Pours in Game High 25

Tailing 32-27 with three minutes remaining in the first half, Luther exploded for a 15-2 run and never looked back en route to a 77-61 victory over Loras here in the Regents Center. The Norse ended the first half with a 42-34 lead.
In the second frame, Loras trailed by as many at 11 points, but continued to battle, pulling to within four (63-59) with 3:29 remaining. Free throws kept the Duhawks in this contest as they connected on 26-of-29 attempts. The Luther defensive effort forced the Duhawks to shoot 27% (15-54), that included a 25% (6-24) performance in the second half.
Senior forward Ashley TeKippe led all scorers pouring in a career high 25 points. TeKippe miss just three field goal attempts (10-13) and was 5-of-6 from the charity stripe. She also made her presence know in the paint and on the glass, leading all rebounders with nine and blocking five shots.
Camille Stenhaug was credited with 15 points and Jill Eicher chipped in 12. Eicher also dished out a game high six assists. Danielle Dunnwald, who spent the majority of the evening defending Loras' Natalie Pucci, chipped in seven points and was credited with four steals.
Loras was led by Lindsey Bava with 15 and Lisa Morrissey with 11. Pucci, who entered the game leading the IIAC in scoring, was 1-for-10 from the field en route to seven points.
The win was Luther's fourth in a row and increased its IIAC record to 6-2, 9-7 overall. Loras fell to 4-4 in the IIAC, 12-5 overall.
