Trailing by as many as 17 points in the second half, Luther battled back and pulled to within single digits, but fell short this afternoon here in the Regents Center. St. Ambrose University, ranked 16th in the NAIA Division II, posted its 10th win against one loss, defeating the Norse 64-56.

Norse turnovers and the Queen Bees deadly shooting from behind the three-point line made the difference in the ball game. Luther turned the ball over 31 times which led to 26 points for St. Ambrose. St. Ambrose also connected on 11-of-28 attempts from behind the three-point line.

The Queen Bees Casey Breitbach set a St. Ambrose single game school record with eight treys. She was 8-of-11 for the night, pouring in a game high 29 points. She had 22 in the first half connecting on 6-of-7 attempts from behind the arch.
