Norse Second at All-American - Dobyns Captures Individual Title

Janet Dobyns finished ahead of a pack of four runners from the University of Minnesota to claim the individual championship of the 36th Annual All-American Invitational. Dobyns covered the 5k course in 18:38, finishing ahead of Minnesota's Katie Howery who crossed the line at 18:42.
The Gophers won the team title with 23 points and were followed by the Norse with 33. A group of Luther alumni were third at 93 and Indian Hills was fourth with 102.
Joining Dobyns in the top seven for the Norse was Rachel Wobeter (6th - 19:11), Flannery Cerbin (7th - 19:23), Ericka Sell (8th - 19:24), Katie Dolan (11th - 19:30), Anne McKay (12th - 19:31), and Kim Horner (14th - 19:39).
The Norse will return to action on Sept. 21, when they will participate in the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite.
