Norse 4th at UW-Eau Claire Invite

Ericka Sell led a Luther squad that placed fourth at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational this afternoon. Sell posted a tenth place finish, crossing the finish line with a time of 24:16. Elise Bennett and Annie McKay were next in 14th and 15th place respectively. Bennett's time was 24:27, while McKay was clocked at 24:31. Rounding out the top five for the Norse was Kim Horner (21st, 24:42) and Julia Schiefelbein (33rd, 25:09). Nicole Wilson (36th, 25:15) and Anna Wikan (40th, 25:21) completed the squad of seven.
Seventeen teams ran in the race that included 243 competitors. UW-La Crosse won the team title with 57 points, followed by St. Thomas with 77 and Wartburg with 88.
The Norse will return to action on Sept. 29, when they will travel to the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota.
