Luther Third at Own Invitational

Luther hosted the one-day Luther Invitational at Oneota Golf and Country Club this afternoon and finished third from the field of 14 teams. The Norse shot a team total of 345 and finished 29 strokes behind first place Wartburg College. The Knights shot 316 and were followed by Waldorf College at 342.

Amy Ekland and Lindsay Thies tied for team medallist honors shooting 85 and finishing in the tie for 16th from the field of 76 players. Jenessa Bonikowske finished 21st with an 87, while Emily Looft shot 88 and was tied for 22nd.

Tournament Results

The Norse will be off until Sept. 22-23, when they will travel to Hudson, Wis. to play in the Carleton Invitational. This two-day tournament will be played on Troy Burne Golf Club.
