What the Norse are Saying
"The girls on the golf team are not only teammates but my best friends as well. I have learned that it is very important to branch out and become involved in all aspects of college life. It gives you the opportunities to really appreciate everything Luther has to offer.
Being on the golf team has also given me the ability to meet great people, get involved in Norse athletics and still have lots of time to focus on school and my grades. Not many colleges can provide such an opportunity."
Junior - Kate Barton - Inver Grove Heights, Minn.
"Over the course of my three years at Luther College, I have come to experience and appreciate the excitement and enthusiasm that can be generated at a college when extracurricular activities are allowed to meld with academics. The combination of my participation on the Luther women's golf team, a heavy course load, and a variety of other activities has positively and significantly impacted my maturity and sense of responsibility. I am confident that Luther has been a perfect fit.
For any student searching for challenging, competitive, and life-fulfilling opportunities, I am confident you will most certainly experience and appreciate the presence of these characteristics at Luther College."
Senior - Jenessa Bonikowske - Stevens Point, Wis.
¨The first time I visited Luther I immediately fell in love with the campus. The hills, trees, Upper Iowa river and bluffs make it a very beautiful place to live and study. There is nothing better than going golfing at Oneota Golf and Country Club after a day spent in class. The course is always in great shape and challenges my game, which forces me to become a better golfer. ¨
Junior - Amy Ekland - Cedar Rapids, Iowa
