Ironside Named to All-Central Region Team

Junior midfielder Emily Ironside (Dubuque, Iowa/Senior) has been named to the 2007 National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA)/Addidas All-Central Region Team.
A three-time all-Iowa Conference performer, Ironside was a second team honoree. She completed the 2007 season with nine goals and five assists for a total of 23 points. After three years in a Norse uniform she has tallied 29 goals and 20 assists for 78 points. Her 29 goals rank eight on Luther's all-time list.
Ironside was one of three Iowa Conference soccer players named to the All-Central Region Third Team. She joins former Luther greats Jen Shinbori '02 and Katie Pettigrew '05 as the only Norse to earn this honor. Shinbori was a third team selection in 2001, while Pettigrew was a three-time honoree from 2001-03 as a third, second and first team selection.
