Carleton Defeats Luther 1-0

The Carleton College Knights handed Luther its third loss in a row, posting a 1-0 victory over the Norse here at home this evening. The Knights dominated this game from start to finish, out shooting the Norse 12-4 and placing seven shots on goal.
The Knights Dylan Welch scored the game winner at 4:05, on a ball that popped loose in front of the net, that rebounded off a couple of Norse defenders who were attempting to clear an errant shot attempt.
The loss drops Luther's overall record to 6-9-0. Carleton, who has won seven in a row, is now 10-4-0.
Luther returns to Iowa Conference play at home against Simpson College on Wednesday. This match will be played under the lights at 7:00 p.m.
