Top seed Loras College scored three times in the second half in a span of 10 minutes, blowing open a close match en route to a 4-1 victory over Luther in the semifinals of the Iowa Conference Tournament.
Luther's lone goal was produced by Lisa Torgerson in the 86th minute assisted by Emily Ironside. Goalkeeper Christina Soward went the distance in the nets and faced 12 shots on goal.
The loss ends Luther's season with an overall record of 8-12-1.
Loras (14-6-0) advances to the tournament championship match for a seventh consecutive year and will face #2 Wartburg (15-3-1) in the title tilt on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
