What the Norse are Saying
"The reason I chose to come to Luther was because this was the first place I had visited that was the most well rounded. It had many different areas of interest for me such as soccer, the campus environment, arts, and the degree that I wanted to pursue. I also found a group of down to earth people that I felt I could relate with.
My soccer experience has been amazing. I have a bond with my coaches and teammates that I don't think that I would have found at any other school. These are going to be some of my closest friends throughout the rest of my life. Playing in such a competitive environment, while still having fun, is exactly what I was looking for. I like how mentally and physically tough and challenging everything is, but I also know I have at least 10 other players on that field with me as a wonderful support system.
It has definitely been a lot more challenging educationally than I thought it would be, but I know that this hard work is going to pay off and only prepares me for my future. I feel like through these challenges other struggles in life won't seem quite as difficult."

"I chose Luther because I loved the atmosphere and the people. Being apart of the women's soccer team has been the most influential aspect of my experience here because of the relationships I have built. The girls on the team are some of my closest friends and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to continue playing a sport I love.
Thanks to the numerous opportunities I have had to experience different educational settings such as my J-term class I spent in in Mexico, my academic experience has been very positive."
