A 2009 All-American, Anna's mom and dad really did know best when it came to choosing Luther College.

"I thought I had made a final decision on which college to attend after high school. But my parents urged me to check out Luther, and after spending the day on campus and meeting the coaches and students, I immediately felt like a part of their family. Throughout the day, I witnessed the incredible campuswide interactions that Luther is known for, and I knew that this was where I wanted to be.

"My teammates support and push each other and have become my best friends. As a member of two Norse teams, I know that Luther athletes don't play for themselves -- they play for each other."
