A four-year letter winner, Amy won't soon forget her trip to nationals in 2008 as a member of the 800 freestyle relay team.
"We finished eighth and not only got to stand on the national podium but also earned All-America status. That was probably my most rewarding moment as a member of the Luther swim team. Standing there, I felt proud to represent my team and school, and at the same time realized that all of my hard work and dedication had paid off.
"During my four years, the swim team was like a family. And just like any family, we had our differences from time to time. But we were always able to support each other in the pool, in the classroom, and in life."
