"Participating in athletics at Luther has added a lot to my college experience. Swimming has given me a way to form relationships with people who I may not have met otherwise. It has also taught me to be a better student because I must balance my commitments to the team, academics and other activities.
The training trip to Hawaii was one of the best experiences I have had as a member of this program. Hanging out at the beach, volunteering at the homeless shelter, and getting to know my teammates better, was one of the best ways I have spent a Christmas vacation."
