Lahr - Hamlin Named to All-Conference Team

Abby Lahr

Abby Lahr (Sr. - Manchester, Iowa/West Delaware) has been selected by the coaches of the Iowa Conference as a second team all-conference performer for the first time of her career. She also becomes the first Luther player to be named all-conference since 2004.

Lahr, who led the Norse with a team high 438 kills, was ranked seventh in the IIAC in kills per game with an average of 3.73. Her 438 kills increased her career total to 1,337, that ranks second on Luther’s all-time charts.

Lahr also led the Norse with an attack percentage of .242, was third for both ace serves (22) and digs (324). Her dig total increased her career mark to 788 that ranks fifth all-time.

Hamlin (So., Spring Valley, Minn./Kingsland) was selected as an honorable mention all-conference performer. The starting libero for the Norse for the second year in a row, she led the team in digs with 576. In Iowa Conference action, she finished the year ranked third, posting an average of 5.53 digs per game en route to a season total of 166.

The combination of her 305 digs last season, combined with this year’s total, gives her a career mark of 881.

Hamlin also completed the season with the second highest total on Luther’s team for ace serves with 31.
